Bunco is a fun, raucous, mindless game played by women across the country. Join us by yourself or with a friend to have a great night out and support a worthwhile cause.

CHC'S PARTICIPATION IN THE 2007 PSU HOMECOMING PARADE! Volunteers participated in the parade under the theme "Volunteers are Superheroes!"

VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM GEARING UP! Training will be held in January. Those who successfully completed an IRS test of proficiency are certified tax preparers and qualified to assist low-income and elderly with their tax returns. Proper filing can mean significant refunds or credits and greatly ease a tight budget, making the difference between being comfortable and just getting by. If you are interested in an internship or volunteering on a time-limited basis, please contact Leanne Lutton, Program Coordinator, at LLutton@communityhelpcentre.com.

FALL 2007 HOTLINE TRAINING UNDERWAY! If you are interested in participating in Community Help Centre's 12-week hotline, help line, and walk in crisis center training, please contact Leanne Lutton at LLutton@communityhelpcentre.com.

This program assists low-income, elderly or disabled residents get to critical medical and social service appointments. Mileage reimbursement is available.
